“Where Leaders Are Made” … that’s the Toastmasters motto. We become leaders by taking small steps of increasing skill and responsibility. We practice time management, goal setting, motivation, team building, inspiration, constructive criticism and celebration.

Toastmasters gives us the opportunity to practice leadership skills in a risk-free environment – in our meetings and on our Club Board.

Members take turns serving the club on the Board. The Board is composed of: President, Vice President Education, Vice President Membership, Vice President Public Relations, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Immediate Past President.

New officers are elected every spring to serve from 1 July to 30 June. To learn more about the leadership journey, its benefits, and why we need a Board in the first place, watch this video.

Toastmasters is a leader in public speaking education. Starting in 1924 as a club to support young men going out on their first job interviews, Toastmasters has grown into a vast network of clubs all around the world. Over 300,000 members enjoy the benefits of practicing speaking in a safe, friendly, supportive environment.

As a Toastmaster you pay a small fee of 10-12 euro per month to support your club and the Toastmasters International program. In comparison to other educational programs that give you a temporary boost and cost you a fortune, Toastmasters offers sustained practice and great value for money.

To learn more about membership privileges, the membership fee, and how your money is spent, watch this video by our Treasurer.
